AC/DC has announced that Axl Rose will take over lead vocals for the remainder of their “Rock or Bust” world tour. Former lead, Brian Johnson, has been Thunderstruck by hearing issues and will sit out the rest of the tour to prevent total hearing loss.

The new lineup will complete the Rock or Bust European tour dates that were previously announced. According to the band’s website, rescheduled dates for the U.S. tour will be announced soon with Rose also filling in.
Fans have responded with mixed reviews on Twitter, but Axl is enjoying a bit of a comeback right now. His voice features a similar growl to Johnson’s, so he is possibly the best they could do on short notice. AC/DC is determined to Rock or Bust, so to me this makes good good sense.
